A scarifier is equipped with a drum that is equipped with steel cutter, carbide tipped cutter, tct cutter, full face cutters, millling cutters. The scarifier drum is loaded onto a center shaft, which rotates the drum in a circular motion. As the drum is in motion the equipped scarifier cutters will begin to penetrate the surface of the concrete. The depth at which the scarifier can cut is adjusted until the desired finish is achieved.
